Get the Facts About Prescription Pain Meds

(Spring 2018) The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) works to address the substance abuse and behavioral health issues in the U.S. They recently released a set of 13 fact sheets titled, “Rx Pain Medications. Know the Options. Get the Facts” to increase awareness of prescription opioid use and misuse. The fact sheets are meant to show the risks associated with prescription opioids and to provide alternative methods of pain management.
