From 1998 to 2000, Nationwide Realty Investors, nationally recognized as a leading developer of large, complex, mixed-use projects, constructed the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.  To keep costs down on this self-insured project, they implemented a drug-free workplace program on a grand scale.

Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls

Surrounded on three sides by Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, Ohio, the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls is a family-run bed and breakfast that opened in 1987.  Their decision to operate drug-free program is unique in their industry and challenging in their locale. An in-depth analysis and discussion about their program’s impact were conducted when they considered the ramifications for suspending their program.

Norwich Township

Norwich Township, one of 17 Townships in Franklin County, Ohio, provides services to members of the greater Hilliard area. The Township employs nearly 100 individuals and provides fire, rescue and EMS services to its residents.  Choosing to operate two drug-free workplace programs simultaneously, one required by the U.S. Department of Transportation and one not, meant they needed a tool to help their supervisors better understand how procedures differed between the two programs.
